A new musical using 1920’s Cole Porter songs in a tale that blends the frothy style of early musical comedy with modern sensibilities about sexuality and identity. Set in 1925 Paris, Let’s Misbehave is about a woman who leaves her loveless marriage in Dayton to go to Paris for fun and sexual adventures, but neither she nor her husband (who follows her) are prepared for the complications that come with sexual freedom. Let’s Misbehave is about the challenge of letting go of who you’ve been, so you can embrace who you might become.
